Dedicated to raising awareness in our community about healthy lifestyles and nourishing meal preparation. Multi-County Cancer Network

The Multi-County Cancer Support Network (MCCSN) is a non-profit organization designed to provide emotional and educational support to cancer patients. MCCXN also provides financial support to qualifying cancer patients while undergoing treatment.

Services are available to any person who has worked in the music industry for two or more years to assist with health insurance, health resources and guidance.

Caregiver Action Network is the nation’s leading family caregiver organization working to improve the quality of life for the more than 90 million Americans who care for loved ones with chronic conditions, disabilities, disease or the frailties of old age.

TennCare Choices Program

Home care services for TennCare patients. Offers services to help those age 65 and those 21 and over with a disability the services they need to stay in their homes. Patients need to contact the number on TennCare card to start an application. A representative will call them for a phone interview and then an in-home assessment before they are approved.

Sarah Cannon Fund

As part of our mission, the Sarah Cannon Fund has been established to support people living with cancer through a variety of community-based programs and resources. A leading nonprofit dedicated to improving access to care for America’s underinsured. They provide financial assistance to help with prescription co-pays, health insurance premiums, deductibles and coinsurance, travel costs.

Dispensary of Hope

Dispensary of Hope collects and distributes millions of dollars of pharmaceuticals annually to pharmacies and safety-net clinics to dispense to low-income, chronically ill patients.

Rx Outreach

A nonprofit pharmacy with a mission to provide affordable medications for people in need. Rx Outreach offers more than 1,000 medication strengths, covering most chronic diseases. Medications can be shipped directly to the provider's office or a patient's home.

Transportation resources

Depending on a patient's condition, we recognize getting to and from medical appointments can be challenging. The following are resources designed to help you get to your place of treatment and back home safely:

Road to Recovery with American Cancer Society

Offers free transportation for patients with one week’s notice. Because this service is run by volunteers who donate their time and use their own cars, drivers cannot usually provide long-distance travel.

Providing non-emergency, long-distance ground transportation to financially disadvantaged, ambulatory patients who are traveling for treatment. The trip cannot exceed 300 miles one way.

Offers individuals with metastatic lung cancer who drive to and from treatment assistance in the form of a $200 gift card.

Disabled American Veterans

Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is one of the largest veterans service organizations in the U.S. DAV operates a fleet of vehicles around the country to provide free transportation to VA medical facilities for injured and ill veterans with medical appointments.

TennCare is Tennessee's managed Medicaid agency serving more than 1.4 million Tennesseans, including low-income individuals, pregnant women, children, caretaker relatives of young children, older adults and adults with disabilities.

Nutrition resources

A healthy diet plays a major part in maintaining overall health. We recognize some patients may not have access to healthy foods or know what types of foods are best for their conditions. The following resources focus on helping patients develop practical nutritional habits:

Pearl Point Nutrition Services

Provides nutrition education, practical tips and helpful resources for cancer patients and their caregivers. To schedule a nutrition consult, use the online scheduler.

Provides free nutrition counseling by registered oncology dieticians and is offered by phone to cancer patients and survivors before, during and after treatment. Call to request to speak with a dietician. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm (EST).

Support groups

Navigating any illness or condition can be difficult, especially if you have to do it alone. There are many different types of support groups with professionals committed to your healing and a network of individuals with similar experiences to lean on. Whether you have cancer or a specific type of chronic condition, these support groups can help:

Cancer Hope Network cancer

Cancer Hope Network matches someone going through a diagnosis and/or their caregivers with a trained volunteer cancer survivor who had a similar cancer experience.

This organization provides free, professional support services for anyone affected by cancer. Lung cancer support groups are available in person, online and by telephone. Trained oncology social workers answer every call, providing counseling, education, financial assistance and practical help.

The Cancer Support Community

This organization, created through a merger of Gilda’s Club and The Wellness Community, provides free professional programs for emotional support, education and hope for people affected by cancer. Lodging assistance

Sometimes, your treatment plan may require you to come into town a bit early for assessments and testing. We recognize some people may need assistance in finding where to stay before they undergo a procedure.
